3rd HellasQCI Training Event on “Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Cyber Security” 

The European co-funded HellasQCI project, a consortium of 13 partners including the Institute of Astrophysics, continues its successful series of educational seminars, this time in Crete, with the 3rd Training Event on: "Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Cyber Security", on September 4 and 5, 2024.

The purpose of this event is to train the new generation of engineers in quantum technologies and cybersecurity, allowing Greece and other countries to be ready for the operation of the European Quantum Communications Infrastructure – EuroQCI. The training focuses on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems, Cybersecurity and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) issues.

The event is suitable for cybersecurity professionals, computer scientists and engineers, as well as students, researchers and academicsworking in the fields of optical and quantum technologies. The event will feature presentations from National Quantum Communications Infrastructure (NatQCIs) Projects from across Europe.

The event is held in a hybrid mode. Those who will attend the event in-person will receive a certificate of attendance. Registration Deadline 24.08.2024
