Accretion onto Supermassive Black Hole Binaries

The interaction of a gaseous disc and a binary has astrophysical importance across scales, from sculpting of planetary and stellar systems to mergers of supermassive black hole binaries. I will describe advances in modelling gas interactions with binaries and discuss implications for supermassive black hole binary populations as well as their multi-messenger observational signatures.
